Feeding Raw Chicken to Dog is not Immoral ? you Dont feel Sad after Feeding Raw Meat to your Dog?
i had decided to give my golden retriver raw chicken
but than i feel some how bad,because the CHICKEN which will be cut down will be killed brutally
a sense of mercy came in my heart
Please advice me
i want to increase weight of my dog ,he is 1 year old
IF I WILL GIVE CHICKEN TO MY RETRIVER IT WILL BE ETHICALLY RIGHT ?

Your dog is a Carnivore and needs meat to survive. If you cannot feed your dog correctly, why have a dog?
If you feed the dog raw fresh chicken at least you know where the chicken came from, if you feed it commercially prepared kibble, you have no idea!

When feeding your dog raw, which is better ? processed patties or ground meat from the butcher ?
Currently we are feeding him patties and we are unsure if we should start feeding ground meat from a local butcher. I’m just thinking because the freshness of the meat from the butcher would be beneficial.

Just meat alone will not provide your dog with the nutrients he needs and by feeding only ground meats your dog is not getting any of the mouth cleaning benefits of raw meaty bones.
If you plan on feeding ground meats then make sure you alternate them with larger meals with some bone. You will need to feed liver at least once a week and another few meals with other organs added.
Ask your butcher to order in some ox or lamb heart for you. This is cheaper than ground meats and you can feed it as a large meal.

Is it ok to feed your dog raw meat for only a day?
My golden retriever 3 yrs has no food and we can’t get anny til tomorrow (short on cash) so im wondering if we can give her raw meat for only 2day because she has not eaten in 2 days. Please help!I want to do whats right for her!
admin answers:
No – if she is fed kibble food then her stomach environment is not set up to take raw and you could possibly give her the runs which is worse.
You could cook the meat first and then give it to her and cook up some rice if you have some and that will suffice.
However, if this ever happens again that she has no food for 2 days (3 by tomorrow) because you can’t afford to get any then please do not keep the dog. This isn’t fair on her. If she needed veterinary treatment then you would be really stuck.
